Will Wealth Generators help you make money, or lose it?
Wealth Generators is a finance boot camp MLM that promises to kick your bank accounts into gear, one 3-way call at a time.
Theyre here to make you richIf you can recruit.
While Im all about passive income streams and home based businesses, this one seemed kinda shady and Ive parted ways with MLM.
This video explains:
All good? Lets continue
Founded in 2013, Wealth Generators promises to give you the opportunity to win Wall Street through their Forex trading software (see: iMarketsLive).
When you look into the companys founders, WG appears to be a rebranding of the failed but infamous MLM WakeUpNow (WUN).
If youve spent any time in MLM, youve undoubtedly heard of WUN (probably because their distributors are so obnoxious about it). They shot up and then crashed faster than a hyperactive kid on speed, completely tanking just 5 years after launch.
Heres the thing: pretty much all of their members were broke. Instead of getting rich, WUN had them in the negative. 96% of their members never made a single penny, which is bad even for MLM.
The few high-level execs that did make money off the scheme basically ran off and started Wealth Generators.
How much does Wealth Generators cost?
$105-$249.99. This will get you the sign-on kit, depending on what kind of membership you want to buy into. After that, youll have to make monthly payments ranging from $129.99-$199.99.
This is another financial tools and Forex trading MLM. Their memberships include a range of software tools and training product, such as equities and Forex alerts, lessons in personal finance, a library of useful financial media, receipt tracking, and tax applications.
Wealth Generators uses a team of market experts to analyze the Forex market and provide members with alerts and suggestions. Members can then mirror the experts, meaning that, in theory, they can get rich off the Forex market without ever having to learn the first thing about Forex trading.
I call bull on these Forex trading programs. Forex trading is an extremely high-risk activity its like the craps of financial markets. You can win big, but you can lose bigger (and usually do). Getting involved in Forex trading without some serious financial knowledge and a trading background is highly unadvisable.
Their website also offers no proof whatsoever that these market experts theyve supposedly got working for them are actually qualified at all to offer trading advice. Theyre not even certified by the SEC. Of course, actual market experts are probably too busy actually getting rich to waste time working for an MLM.
Even if their product did work, the same exact thing is available for free from so many other places. Companies build this Forex software and offer it up for free in exchange for a small commission on your winnings. That makes so much more sense than shelling out hundreds per month on a program youre not even sure will work.
The only thing they offer that has any real value is their tax software, but you can get the same thing from Taxbot for $9.99.
Even the Wall Street Journal advises experts only to get involved in Forex trading. While most people dont make their buy-in cost back in MLM, this is one of the few MLMs that actually offers the opportunity to lose lots and lots of money.
They do offer a money back guarantee at least, but its very shady. It states, If you purchase one of our subscriptions for six months and lose money overall for that period, WE WILL REIMBURSE YOU 3X YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FEES!
The big catch is that you need to have followed every single pieces of advice theyve given you, ever alert from their market experts, and ever training module in order to qualify for the reimbursement, and you need to be able to prove it. And heres the thing if youre losing money, and you stick with the program for 6 months and do all of the recommended trades in order to get reimbursed, youre going to keep losing more and more money, month after month. Following their program to a T could mean losing thousands, all in the hopes that theyll actually reimburse you at the end of 6 months.
On top of that, youre paying the massive subscription fee six times, which can add up to over $1,000.
All so that you can apply for reimbursement and most likely be denied, because this company has found 1,001 loopholes in their money back guarantee.
Each subscription you sell is worth 100 PV.
Once you hit 400 PV in a month (including your own subscription), you get a bonus equal to your subscription price $129.99-$199.99.
You need to hit this 400 PV mark in order to start getting big organization bonuses.
If you hit 400 PV and your organization sells another 900 GV in a month, you get a $500 bonus. If you bump that up to 3,600 GV (not easy), you get a $1,000 bonus.
Once you start moving up in rank, you can earn 4% on the sales of your recruits up to 3 levels deep, 4 levels deep, or 8 levels deep, depending on your ranking.
Of course, the company also offers all kinds of extra bonuses and incentive trips (see: World Ventures or Paycation).
It is recommended that distributors purchase Errors and Omission Insurance for liability protection, as they can be held liable by the SEC for giving out unqualified trading advice to their recruits.
Any MLM that recommends you purchase liability insurance in order to sell their product is shady enough to go on my no list.
On top of that, they sell a product thats available for free, you can actually lose thousands of dollars by participating in their program, and theyre basically the poor mans version of WakeUpNow (which failed miserably).
Theres not a lot to redeem these guys, and chances are, theyll be gone in a few years tops.
Look, Im not a hater of the company. Its just that if you like passive income streams, there are much better opportunities out there.
In other words, you might like our training because it teaches the good life without recruiting your family and friends to join anything.
