Beachbody is a hot fitness MLM, should you join?
Beachbody is a well-known MLM that offers a weight loss system and markets fitness programs, supplements, and athletic gear.
Ever heard of Hip Hop Abs, P90x, and INSANITY? Yeah, thats them.
Companies that promote health and wellness products and programs are very hot right now (hint: Herbalife, Young Living, and Isagenix). Beachbody is right up there with them.
So have I been involved?
This video explains:
All good? Lets continue
If youre an exercise junkie or if youve ever experimented with diet supplements youve probably heard of Beachbody. What some people might not know is how much they really offer the health and fitness industry. Theres literally dozens of products and videos available to explore and purchase on the Beachbody website.
They even host a live network, Beachbody on demand that people can technically view from the convenience of well, literally anywhere where theres an internet connection. You may have heard of similar exercise and weight loss product brands such as:
21 Day Fix
Hip Hop Abs
Brazil Butt Lift
Slim in 6
What you might not have known is that Beachbody is the parent company to these companies plus many more. This company holds a reputable name in the world of exercise and fitness. Right now they spend nearly $100 million each year on infomercials and multiple forms of advertisements. In addition to this they sell their merchandise using a distribution system consisting of private sales reps.
Should I lay here in bed, or hit the gym? begins. Interestingly enough Beachbodys CEO Carl Daikeler can relate. In fact he claims he has to practically trick himself into working out and he tries to incorporate some of those tricks into his brand to encourage people to get their behinds off the couch and get active.
The fitness industry is constantly evolving so its no wonder Beachbody has so many different options available to use to get into better shape. From the Beachbody 10-Minunte Trainer to more intense offerings like INSANITY, everything offers a unique plan to losing weight and ultimately achieving better health.
There are a ton of products available through Beachbody and I say that with no exaggeration. They offer many home fitness programs (like the ones I mentioned above) nutritional supplements, and a line of fitness gear to make exercise comfortable and easy to do at home.
Shakeology is one particular nutritional supplement promoted via Beachbody, and its super popular right now. Odds are you probably know somebody whos tried or at least expressed interest in using Shakeology. So whats the hype about?
It encourages weight loss
Reduces cravings for junk food
Boosts healthy energy
Supports digestion and regularity
Contains proteins and fibers
Contains antioxidants to help support a healthy immune system
Adaptogen herbs which are used to assist the body in dealing with and adapting to stress
Contains prebiotics and probiotics (see: Yakult)
Basically you prepare a shake and drink it to replace a meal. The shakes are the equivalent of eating fruits and vegetables. The neat part is they are offered in numerous flavors and if you visit Shakeologys website you will find dozens of recipes to try with your shakes so you dont become bored with any of their tastes (see: ViSalus).
Now another maybe not as commonly known product by Beachbody is the P90X chin up bar. The names pretty self-explanatory, because we are absolutely talking about a real pull up bar here. This product is designed to bring a little bit of the gym into your home, office, garage, etc. It makes an ideal tool for chin-ups and pull-ups.
Lastly Ill touch on one of fitness programs Beachbody offers. Lets talk about the 21 Day Fix. You might have seen this weight loss plan featured on Dr. Oz. Although we call it a diet, the company insists the 21 Day Fix is not a diet but instead portioning what you eat.
To make that easier this program has designed seven special Tupperware containers that are precisely measured to portion your food in the healthiest way. So say goodbye to winging it, just fill the container and feel confident that youre eating just enough.
In order to experience the best results possible you should combine the 21 Day Fix plan with 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day. But no worries thats easy too since they provide you with six workouts to use to meet this goal.
Most of Beachbodys products are well known, and some of you reading this have might have tried one or more. If you abide by the workout plans and diets I wouldnt be surprised if you experienced noticeable results in your body and overall health too.
Beachbody offers people the opportunity to become a Beachbody Coach. It is described as a program that allows you to help yourself while also helping others to improve their health and live much more fulfilling lives. To become a coach means you must employ compassion and want to put an end to the development of obesity throughout the United States. It is rewarding work because it means you are helping others and impacting their lives in a positive way. That positivity will stem into your own life by inspiring you to continuously work on improving yourself, and of course it can reward you financially.
If youre beginning to think you might be destined to coach heres some other info to think about:
25% discount on all products
Work full-time or part-time
Work for yourself
Low start-up costs
No pesky inventory
Make your own hours
Possible tax benefits
Your very own website
These are certainly some endearing benefits when considering whether or not to embark on the journey of becoming a Beach Body coach. But what does it take to actually earn money? Sales. Beachbody offers 25% retail commissions for every sale coaches make and isnt so much focused on a recruitment system, which is unique.
Theres no question that Beachbody is an extremely successful company. It is the root of too many fitness, weight loss, and general health products to count. Theres got to be something that works for everybody. As far as the opportunity, this is a market that will never stop progressing, so if you think you got what it takes to sell jump on that band wagon.
But in the end, its the same sad story of selling the hype of an opportunity. Im not a Beachbody hater as Ive shown throughout the review, but there are flaws in the MLM industry.
There are much better ways to kill your 9-5. I am living proof. Ive gone in a completely different direction without hitting up friends on Facebook, 3-way-calls or home parties.
